Now, let me spill the beans, folks. I had these grand plans for Christmas and New Year, but my body decided to throw a curveball that caught us all off guard. On 22\/12, I found myself as the lead actor in my very own illness drama. Fever, chills, and a boat trip to my brother’s place \u2013 because who doesn’t love to travel when they feel like they’ve been trampled by reindeer?<\/p>\n
Upon reaching my brother’s haven, my audition for admission was nothing short of spectacular. I spent my days in their basement guest room, delivering a show-stopping performance featuring vomiting, fever, and watery diarrhea. An entertainment extravaganza! I practically felt like I had won an Oscar for diseases.<\/p>\n
Fast forward to the 27th, and there I was in the hospital, displaying my remarkable rendition of a raisin. My liver decided to take an early retirement, and I basked in four days of luxurious IV. To add icing to the cake, I got to return home to “celebrate” New Year’s. Champagne was swapped out for water, and the gourmet feast featured the latest trend \u2013 boiled fish.<\/p>\n
Now, the doctors are as clueless as I am about the internal circus. No cool viruses or trendy bacteria \u2013 just a mystery that could potentially be a parasite. A parasite, really? I might be trendier than I give myself credit for.<\/p>\n
Here I am, my friends, ready to embrace the new year with a healthy dose of Proviva, water, and a diet that would make a goldfish green with envy.
