It is also the magic age when friends and relatives get sick and actually die.<br \/>\nYes..die.<br \/>\nPass away.<br \/>\nLeave us.<\/p>\n<p>I look around and find that i have at least a handful friends who has sufferd from cancer .<br \/>\nSome made it.<br \/>\nSome didn\u00b4t.<\/p>\n<p>One could think i consider sorrow to be the theme of the late thirties and on.<br \/>\nI don\u00b4t. Of course i don\u00b4t.<br \/>\nIt does, however, make me reflect on how i treat people&#8230;and how they treat me.<\/p>\n<p>A swedish singer, Moa Lignell, sings:<br \/>\n\/&#8211;\/But baby, I tell ya<br \/>\nMy heart was freaking out when I held ya<br \/>\nEven in the best of days<br \/>\nLove will be hard and hearts will be faking\/&#8211;\/<\/p>\n<p>So well put.<br \/>\nSorrow, no matter what reason, can hit us &#8220;even in the best of days&#8221;.<br \/>\nI send my thoughts to friends, both close and far, that are going through cancer treatment, divorces, family disputes, quarrels with friends and other oh so joyful life events.<br \/>\n&#8220;This too shall pass&#8221;<br \/>\n(Persian: \u0627\u06cc\u0646 \u0646\u06cc\u0632 \u0628\u06af\u0630\u0631\u062f\u200e, Arabic: \u0643\u0644\u0647 \u0645\u0627\u0634\u064a\u200e, Hebrew: \u05d2\u05dd \u05d6\u05d4 \u05d9\u05e2\u05d1\u05d5\u05e8\u200e, Turkish: Bu da ge\u00e7er)<br \/>\nHusband just reflected:<br \/>\n-Its no fun. At all. &#8230;and i wonder if there was as much cancer out there when we were kids?<\/p>\n<p>Well put.<br \/>\nWe both draw the conclusion that yes&#8230;there probably was.<br \/>\nWe just hadn\u00b4t hit that magic age.<br \/>\nThat magic age of mortality.<\/p>\n<p>I have coffee to drink before Little Crumble wakes up.<br \/>\nUntil later.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am at that magic age.
