There’s something magical about Christmas, or at least that’s what we all try to convince ourselves while struggling to assemble Ikea furniture and survive family gatherings.
But despite all the chaos and madness, there’s something incredibly special about having a family that loves you. A family that, despite possibly driving you insane, is there for you when it really matters.

And then there’s health, that stubborn little thing we often take for granted until it decides to remind us that it’s indispensable. So let’s raise a toast to having it, even if we sometimes grumble about it.

Now, onto the unwavering will to never give up. It’s probably that determination that gets you out of bed in the morning when all you want to do is wrap yourself in the duvet and ignore the world. So keep going, you tenacious little warrior. The world is better with you in it.

And now to the serious stuff. Many of us carry a heavy heart during the festivities. We seem to be living proof of “happy on the outside, sad on the inside.”
It’s crucial to remember that not everyone is as fortunate as you, and it’s never wrong to reach out and do something kind for someone else.

As an atheist, I believe in the inherent goodness of humanity when we set aside our egos. You don’t need to believe in any God or savior; you can be your own. Pray to yourself, the universe, or any god if you wish. Ask for help, strength, and joy. I truly believe that what you ask for will find you.

So my christmas wish for you, dear reader, is to have faith in your own strength. Be kind to others. You never know what they’re going through. So, especially during this holiday season, let’s all be a little extra kind to each other. Because, in the end, that’s what truly spreads joy and creates memories that last longer than Christmas decorations.

Have a wonderous holiday season and a happy new year!

I have presents to wrap and family to annoy.
Until later darlings, until later.
