2020 – really? REALLY???? Can we just never talk about that horror of a year ever again?
Thank you. We can referr to it as ”The year we do not mention”.
Soooo 2021 is finally here…3months ago. It seems like nothing has happened since the only people ive seen are the same lot of people living in my house, wearing the same ol´PJs as before the pandemic. No time has passed. Nothing changes. It´s like a vaccum in time.
The one thing I CAN add to my long and distinguished list of experiences is being a part of a very unstable jobs market. I´ve had tempjobs since last spring and I have now secured a 12month gig at the same place. Ok feeling but i´d much rather have a steady job. It feels somewhat unworthy to be temping at 45. I feel with all of you that doenst have a job for the moment. My prayers are with you.
All of this time I have on my hands….what to do?
One could start projects, maybe get the garden in order, wax my legs or even clean out the storage space on the attic.
Nopes. Not me. I decided to watch endless tv series and ignore all that needs to be done.
A strikingly statisfying feeling I have to admit.
My top 5 series, as I´m writing this, are:
- The bold type (Netflix) – I know. Very girly and lipsticky but it still brought back memories of my own 20´s, galpals, champagne and all.
- Sabrina (Netflix) – Seriously corny and it had me at Salem.
- Luther (Netflix) – Oh dear Lord! Idris Elba: be still my beating heart.
- The Order (Netflix) – Magic…oh how I love magic. Mix magic with handsome wolves and cool witches and i´m right there. Fantabulous!
- Älska mig (Viaplay) – Josefine Bornebusch is a genius. We have already seen her in comedy magic in “Solsidan” and now she moves on to both directing and acting. A true, warm, real and very funny series well worth the watch.
Now go forth into the night and please…do NOT behave.
Until later / L
