Christmas and new years has passed and I SURVIVED! Yes mam I did!I even managed not to gain 10kg.
Damn straight! All pressies managed to get bought well in time (-ish) and I the house actually looked decent on Christmas Eve. Me and my clan spent it with my husband’s family at his parent’s house across the island and It was pure magic. Loved every second of it.
Remember when I said “My cunning plan is to get well in record time and get ALL my shopping done on Sunday.” Well I actually DID get well and got all that shopping done that Sunday. See what setting a goal can do 😉 I even attended Kempo as planned.
The Dojo hosted a “mini camp” on the 27th of December for all that felt like getting beaten up for a good four hours. I_loved_it. Got to spend time with my KempoHusband as well as the rest of my KempoHomies. Awesomeness. Pure Awesomeness.
Mum and dad arrived in the 27th and left on the 29th a few hours before my brother, his fantabulous fiancée and their 10 month awesome son named Nils arrived to spend New Year’s with us …so Full house! My brother and I haven’t spent New Year’s together in about 12 years so it was truly perfect to have him here.
Dominican republic?
Husband joins the fabulous 40+ crowd in December and want to travel “somewhere warm”. We have our sights set on the Dominican Republic but prices are sky high in late November as of this morning. We plan to keep our cool and just wait and see if prices drop.Do you have a tip on where to go all-inclusive late November – early December …PLEASE feel free to contact me. Pretty please even. My cunning plan until then is to actually get into the shape I’ve always wanted to be in for the beach. I have started using our new family member Bertil at least 2 times a week + Kempo 2 times a week starting next week. So maybe…just maaaaybe I have sporting chance until late November. Progress on that to come in later posts.
