So it has been a while since I wrote about this craziness called life.
Snow came and went away in November and then decided to make a sneak appearance last night again. Trés exciting for all, especially those who travel by train.
One would perhaps imagine that a country like Sweden would be prepared for snow…every friggin year! But nooo..oh no. Trains, busses and even air traffic are in total chaos every time our good Lord decides to grant our wishes for a white Christmas. I am grateful and blessed to live on an island where I don’t need to be dependent on trains etc. Canada seems to have very few problems like this, according to friends. Have a look here to see my point! I would, if I had the money, sponsor a visit for our dear planners at Vägverket to its Canadian counterparts at the Railway Association of Canada. Wonders it would make! I’m sure of it.
Enough whining already.
Last night was epic..and no I am not referring to a date with husband once again, I’m talking about my sons Shintai Kempo examination for yellow mon belt. HE MADE IT!
He was so proud and pleased.
It was reported that his humble mother shed a few proud tears at the occasion.
I fell head over heels in love with my sons coaches; Sensei Roger & Sensei Ulf. You gentlemen are the real deal.
I adore the ground you walk on.
Thank you for being the role model for my son that that all kids need.
Me and my fellow white belts get the opportunity in January to get our yellow belts. I´ll be a wreck, I just know it.
Me + test = disaster. Lots of practice until then and a never-give-up attitude will get the job done. Hopefully.
So, life is good. I tend to spend my days bruised and with sore muscles but eternally humble and happy for the chance to be a part of the Shintai Kempo family.
Ah yes, I have taken yet another husband; a KempoHusband. Trés handy.
Just to make things clear:
Husband #1 –BeforeGodHusband – the love of my life, the joy of my heart and the father of my children.
Husband #2 – Workhusband: Ola. My IT-counterpart at work. We are the perfect combination of laid back and hyper at work (guess which one I am)
Wife #1 – SusiBus. The one and only. My best friend of almost 20 years. Love her to bits and we get each other completely. Drives me mad almost as often as she makes me laugh so hard my mascara gives me that “smokey look” …or “racoon face”.
I’ll have to say it’s a pretty awesome team to have my back.
Now, back to business.
I have coffee to sip, reports to write and people to annoy.
Until later dear friends, until later.
