I wrote about being a little bit of a tom-boy the other day and quickly got told that I have always cared about my nails. I, reluctantly, agreed after a long hard think.
My mother has always had the most amazing nails all through my childhood til this day.
Not with lots of colour necessarily but prim and proper for what she does for a living (she is a certified nurse). I remember sitting next to mum when I was a kid watching in awe how she painted her nails to perfection. She always claims I got the inspiration from a daycare friends, Johans, mum.
That is, however, not my recollection. My mum was, and still is, my inspiration..not only when it comes to nails 🙂
My recent obsession, nailwise, is Sally Hansen Miracle gel. Gel polish that doesn’t need UV-light curing. AbsolutelyFrigginAwesome! It keeps flawless for at least 5 days. FIVE DAYS! And I have only tried the top coat together with my regular polishes. Love love love it. The shade on the picture is Rituals Light Pink. And no I haven’t done a French manicure as our Lord blessed me with the white tips naturally J I find this pink to be the most flattering for me as it has a cold light pink shade with no creamy under tones. It totally hides any yellow tone in my natural nails with only one coat.
I can’t wait to try out some new autumn colours. These shades are most definitely on my wish list for tomorrow.
I have coffee to sip and candidates to ring.
