Ok..i know i wont win Miss Congeniality for this post but again…do i really care?
Me. husband and kids went to Stockholm last Thursday to visit my parents as well as going to the Bon Jovi concert on friday evening.
I was so stoked to get some alone time with husband away from kids, house and other everyday stuff that i forgot to listen to the latest album “What about now”.That turned out to be one epic fail. Jon Bon Jovi, who as always made my pulse quicken at least momentarily, made no impression what_so_ever.
I love men in their 50ties…they are distinguished, experienced and cool, but Jon Bon Jovi just looked old and tired. Mostly tired to be honest.
He has a a voice of an angel and knows his music ..but too well this time. It all seems rehearsed and plasticfantastic. Just too polished.
My spirits fell when he made the same rock move for the 25th time during the second song.
Phil X (replacement for @-rehab-Sambora) blew my mind though, what a gem..what a STAR.
Who needs Sambora???
The stage was pure awesomeness so whom ever produced the show knows his/her stuff.
All in all: a 3 out 5 for Bon Jovi @ Stockholm Stadium 24/5 2013.
