And so it has begun.
Husband whipped up the perfect birthdaybreakfast according to all Ahlstedt rules. Alexius was ALL cozy and gave me slobbery kisses.
I got fab pressies from husband, son, parents and parents in law.
Yes..thats correct…im spoilt rotten.
I love love love my birthday! Always have..always will.
It´s like Christmas…but only for me! No need to share with Jesus.
MY day…only mine!Text and facebook greetings are pouring in. *
I feel truly blessed to have so many people around me that remembers my day and cares.
Thank you!

I don’t really grasp the concept of NOT going all in celebrating ones birthday since I am the quintessential birthday girl, but I understand a lot of women (and men) doesn’t particularly enjoy celebrating that one more year has passed.
I have to ask myself why….
I have had another year to enjoy life, another year to gather up more experience to be able to enjoy the coming years even more and another year filled with joy, laughter, love, tear and tribulations.
With other words: One more year filled with: Life!
I celebrate that I was born…how can that not be worth celebrating like mad ? Full stop, ALL IN!
B-days rocks. Nuff said.

I have been the good housewife and baked cookies for work since that is the tradition in this coutry: “Bring-cake-or-cookies-on-ur-birthday-or-be-despised-for-ever”.
I kinda think it should be the other way around; Give ME cake on my b-day!
But hey…I have baked since I conform so easily.

I have stuff to do and balloons to blow!
Until later
