I rarely fall in love with products but Sticky9 is pure awesomeness.
They make magnets (and a whole lot of other stuff) with your pictures on them. I orderd a batch last year for my in laws with pics of my children.
Instant sucess! So i approached them for a quick interview about who they are and what they are all about.

What inspired you to start Sticky9?
Sticky9 started from a LOVE of all things Instagram! We wanted to help our customers bring their photos to life (or to their fridge) by creating top quality photo Magnets.
Where are you based?
We are based in sunny London (okay, you got us it’s rainy, not sunny). But we ship worldwide to numerous sunny locations, does that count?
Where are your products manufactured?
We produce Sticky9 goodies across the globe we work with printers in the UK, Europe, USA and Australia.
How has your products evolved since you started?
When Sticky9 first started we would turn your 9 favourite Instagram snaps into 9 photo Magnets. Now, you can use photos from your camera roll, desktop, Facebook etc and print them on Posters, Square Prints, Greeting cards and much, much more. In January this year we launched the Sticky9 GiftLab which helped us to test new products with the help of our community, of course. Although we have to say, our biggest and most successful evolution this year has been the launch of our new IOs and Android App which has brought our services conveniently closer to the camera rolls of our customers.
What trends do you see in your marketplace?
Although digital technology has changed the traditional world of photography, we understand that our customers still want to hold onto and capture special moments in life. Whether it’s photos from a family wedding, or a photo of their morning latte, these moments become part of us and who we are, and we enjoy sharing our experiences of the world with our family and friends.
We know that now more than ever our customers expect effortless online user journeys, world class customer service and fast delivery. We see more customers enjoying the ease of use and convenience of our mobile App and the share of those using Apple Pay is increasing. Our customers expect a different level of service, they want an answer to their questions straight away and prefer to contact us through Social Media which we are very happy to accommodate.
How much does environmental work mean to you? And in what way?
At Sticky9 we are extremely passionate about protecting the planet, just like our customers. All of our production and shipping is carbon neutral, we make sure we’re doing our bit to combat global warming. Working with Climatepartner (a leading European specialist for climate protection) every Sticky9 order generates between 10C and €1 (depending on size) towards the forest protection project in Kasigau, Kenya. It also means we are preserving the environment of 500 African elephants 🙂

Can you describe where you see Sticky9 being in five years?
At Sticky9 change is our only constant and we wouldn’t have it any other way. In five years time we hope to be present in more countries, offering a wider product range with an even larger community of Sticky9ers! As technology and online experiences continue to change we hope to continue supporting the needs of our customers in a way that’s convenient for them and of course giving them a service that brings their digital experience to the physical world.
