I have spent a lot of time thinking about what sleep does to a person.
Just have read of my previous posts in Mr Sandman etc…
Wallstone has done a fantastic job in teaching WeeMan how to enjoy sleeping in his own bed when he is tired ( yes ladies…I married him..IN YOUR FACE!)
IRL this means he decks around 1930 and sleeps until 0730.
Every night.
A_M_A_Z_I_N_G!
The whole experience is novel every time.
We have our life back.
We can talk, have friends over, spend quality time together and watch a movie.
It wasn’t easy…I can tell you that. But here we are!
Brand new parents. And persons again.
It took a little time to find the way back to being me.
To enjoy the new and improved me. To realize that I actually am improved and not the opposite.
So..to all of u pregos ut there..or u people thinking about having a little one.
ROCK ON!! Shag away! dO THE WILD MAMBO!
It’s cool to be a parent.
A LOT cooler than hoping for barlife to be as much fun as it was when you were 19 or thinking getting totally wrecked EVERY weekend is the best ever since the equator was invented.
Bars and getting sloshed are still fun, don’t get me wrong…its just that other things are just as much fun. In another sort of fun-beyond-words-kinda-way.
What I do miss is the complete freedom of having lunch with friends in town on a Sunday…in the company of Wallstone. It takes a little bit more organizing that it used to.
I guess I miss the simplicity.
Oh well..in another 20 years it will all be back to “normal” again.

Ah and now to something completely different.

He decided that today was the day to pull out those round shades and waaay too short jeans. I snapped this pic with my mobile cam when we drove through Aberdeen a few weeks back.

Wallstones FAB cousin Carina got married her her long time love Fredrik on the 7th of august. I had the honor of being the photographer of the day.
