Magic make-up for a tom-boy

Yesterday’s post generated quite a few questions on what kind of make-up I wear considering I have very sensitive skin. The list isn’t very long and manage my routine in 8 min flat each morning. A clear plus when being a mother of two chaos wonderful children at the gentle ages of 4 and 7.

So…here goes.
I start by wiping my face with Naobay Calming toner  and the swishing on some VISIBLY CLEAR® Pink Grapefruit Oil-Free Moisturiser and get myself a cuppa java whilst waiting for my skin to soak up the oil free goodness.

After that I mix some mineral powder (actually a foundation but use it as concealer) with some aloe vera gel. Use as much powder as you need coverage. I used to buy bareMinerals foundation and concealer but discovered this brand on Etsy and it works as good, or better, for a fraction of the cost.
Pad gently under your eyes as well as around other concealer-worthy areas.
Let sit for 15 sek.
My face now needs some colour and I love love love Hoola matte bronzer since it has no red undertones what so ever. Only proper matte bronzer.
Some Pressed rouge mini and Benetint on my cheeks gives me that fresh just-in-from-a-stroll-in-the-woods kinda look.
The top of my cheek bones, note as well as my upper and under lip gets a dash of Strobing stick.
Almost done people!

I dab on the Bold gold eyeshadow with my ring fingers, and lines my eyes with the fab (and oh so cheap) waterproof eyeliner I found on Wish.
Last but not least – eyelash curler + waterproof masacra.
I acutally use Hey Honeys serum on my lips to get that smooth and plump feeling all day.

DONE!

None of the brands I use are excessively pricy as I most definitely do not have the budget to splurge on make-up, but they work! They do the trick and they do good for my skin.
I am curious to try Neutrogena’s SkinClearing Liquid Makeup. I’ll see if I have the guts to try it later this season when my summer glow has vanished to give way to the “pale-but-interesting”-look.

I have never really been a girly-girl who has loved sparkle and pink all her life.
One could, possibly, describe me as a tom-boy with a glam side to her.
So the whole, nails, hair and make-up is fairly new to me  but i like it. I like to feel good about my looks on my own permise and my own stadards. I´m, almost, 41 and i really enjoy looking like the 41 one years of experience i hold.
